…says Zambia has become a place that one can boast about
Patriotic Front Member of the Central Committee Kebby Mbewe says the development done under the Leadership of His Excellency President Edgar Chagwa Lungu cannot be compared to any other previous government.
Speaking when he featured on Musanza TV “Voice It” Programme, MCC Mbewe said Zambia has turned into a country that one can boast about because of the key infrastructure erected by the Government in various sectors.
MCC Mbewe who is also President Lungu’s Southern Province Campaign Vice Coordinator said such things as good road network never existed in the Vocabulary of Zambians before the PF was ushered into power.
MCC Mbewe said infrastructure such as the Milling Plant in Monze which will create employment for the Youths signifies the commitment the President has to improve the livelihood of the people.
He also stated that Houses have been built for the men and women in uniform to ensure that no one is left behind.
He has noted the need for people to begin to appreciate the hospitals, Clinics, Schools and other facilities gifted to them by the PF Government.
“We want to remind the Zambian People that they had to fly to India for Cancer treatment.
But we now have such facilities for such treatment. We only had 3 Universities, but now we have delivered about 8 in a short period of time,” he said.
And MCC Mbewe has urged citizens not to be deceived by the opposition who always try to ridicule infrastructure development.
“These people who are saying that you can’t eat roads, you can’t eat a bridge do not mean well for this country.
How can you set up a factory in Moomba if there is no road? Have you ever heard a person when building a house asking if he will eat the house? No wonder the people in western countries laugh at us because all we think about is eating,”
They go and drive over the fly over bridges in the night five times because it is too nice,” MCC Mbewe said.
He said Zambia has been recreated under President Lungu’s leadership hence deserves the mandate to lead the country until 20216.
