It was such an honor to have been hosted by the EU delegation in Zambia, meeting up with his excellency, the EU ambassador to Zambia today at their offices.
We had an inspiring discussion on culture and diversity and issues affecting artists and the music /art industry in Zambia.
The #EUDZambia has been working with local musicians and artists in helping promote cultural diversity and excellence.
For our annual #EuropeDay and May 9 celebrations, the EU has partnered with myself as well as other top Zambian artists such as B Flow, Barefeet among others. This year we are partnering with #alliancefrançaise Lusaka, #VirtuosoZambia in linking young Zambians artists and musicians with global talent from #europe.
Through the Creative Europe, the EU has invested in actions that reinforce cultural diversity and allows mentor-ship and exchange programmes among artists from and partner countries like Zambia.
The #erasmusplusproject has focused on mobility projects and virtual exchanges as well as support to policy cooperation at #EuropeanUnion level.
Artists from Zambia are encouraged to partner with individuals artists and organizations to collaborate on improving local culture and arts.
