Incoming Patriotic Front Chibombo District Council Charperson Charity Mpundu Kapona has lashed out at the United party for National Development (UPND) for what she described as inhuman and UnZambian behavior.
Reacting to the UPND attacks on innocent women at Mwayansuka market in Chaloshi Ward, says the opposition UPND does not deserve any vote from the women.
“It’s absurd, inhuman and UnZambian for them to have brutally attacked women who were simply out there conducting business to feed their families,” she says.
She said the UPND cadres must learn to respect women.
Mrs Kapona urged UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to denounce such acts.
She charged that it’s apparent that Mr Hichilema seems to be having a field day every time his cadres disrespect women.
She has called on all well meaning Zambians especially women to denounce such behaviour and avoid voting for people who champion violence.
