WE EXPECT PRESIDENT LUNGU TO RETAIN POWER – LUFWANYAMA CHIEFS

… as PF Presidential running mate Professor Nkandu Luo says President Edgar Lungu is an emphatic and loving leader who has demonstrated high levels of integrity and accountability.

Five chiefs in Lufwanyama district on the Copperbelt have pledged total support to the PF and President Edgar Lungu in the August 12 General elections.

Chief Mukutuma, Chieftainess Shimukunami and Senior Chief Nkana who spoke through Chief Lumpuma said they expect the PF and President Lungu to retain power owing to the massive support the ruling party enjoys across the country.

Chief Lumpuma said the four traditional leaders enjoy a sincere relationship with the ruling PF and President Lungu.

He said working together with the PF structures in the district, it has been very easy to plan and execute development in the area.

“We expect President Lungu to come back into office after the August elections.

He should not worry because he has already won these elections due to the massive support the ruling party enjoys.

As traditional leaders in Lufwanyama we pledge support to the PF,” Chief Lumpuma said.

” As a district we are non tribalistic here and we denounce politics of violence,” He adds.

And Chief Lumpuma said the people of Lufwanyama are grateful to President Lungu for the timely delivery of farming inputs for the 2021/ 2022 farming season.

He said this shows the importance that Government attaches to agriculture and also fulfilling the promises to small scale farmers.

“We are grateful to Government for the early delivery of inputs, this underscores the importance Government attaches to agriculture and also the promise made to the farmers,” He said.

” We also commend President Lungu for the manner he has handled the fight against Covid -19.

The completion of nine health posts has improved health delivery and reduced distance to access health care. The completion of the Police post has also boosted security, ” Chief Lumpuma said.

And PF Presidential running mate Professor Nkandu Luo said the continued support and cooperation rendered to Government by chiefs has made delivery of development easy.

Professor Luo said the people of Zambia are happy with the PF development agenda and want continuity.

” People are happy with the development agenda of the PF and want continuity.

No time for experiments because if we bring people with no leadership experience they will destroy the country,” Professor Luo said.

” President Lungu is a tested leader who has held various leadership portfolios and knows how to take the country to greater heights.

He is an emphatic and loving leader who has demonstrated high levels of integrity and accountability in his leadership” Professor Luo said.
